It’s good being GREEN
You’ve heard the saying,
“When you’re GREEN you GROW and when you’re RIPE you ROT”.
I heard it last week. Made me think. Multi-million dollar businesses have been built by naive kids who probably JUST learned to drive. While some older adults are still waiting for the right time to jump in.
The fact is ANYTHING is possible nowadays… and faster than ever!
The day you say that you know everything is the day you stop learning.
Can you get too old to be curious?
Have you done anything GREEN lately?
Tell us about it.

Kevin – I’m no musician but your advice rings true for any one trying to get noticed in any arena. I’m just over from the guest post/case study on AList Blogging Bootcamp and I think your comment was the best! You are right! Sometimes reach is about the right [and sometimes little] people and not necessarily about fame. Thanks for that!
BTW — LOVED the kid on guitar!
Thanks for your comment Maggie Mae! Are you talking about the kid playing “with or without you?” I know. I will have a son or daughter in June. That video makes me want to buy a tiny guitar for him/her (I find out Feb 12!!).
Did you see the Musical Cat video.. maybe you’ve seen it, if not, it’s DEFINITELY worth a look.
Maggie, Thanks again for the conversation!

I have been enjoying your blog. I can remember when I was young, that most of the older crowd never took me seriously. Maybe that was because they had turned “brown” and lost their “green” freshness. :) My favorite color is green. I love possibilities.
Hey Susan… something about your comment made me want to sing “Rainbow Connection” in a Kermit THEE Frog voice…lol
Thank you for commenting!

What would it look like if the Youth were wise and the Old were youthful. Me learning to ride a skateboard while my son yells “you’re going to break a leg.”
Wow Jerimy. I’m having to think about that.
Or would he say, “Go Dad, So What if you break your leg, Mom will think that you are cool!”
Or maybe, “The skateboard doesn’t work as well on the gravel part of the driveway, dad… trust me”
